I’m Golam Rob — a civil engineer, PMP certified project manager, environmental photographer, and at heart, a storyteller.
With more than 25 years of professional experience, I work at the intersection of engineering, project management, and visual storytelling. My photography documents mangrove forests, coastal landscapes, rivers, and everyday textures of life across Bangladesh and beyond.
Over the years I have built large collections of environmental imagery used for stock photography and AI training datasets, exploring how visual documentation can contribute to research.
The Problem I Saw
In 2022, a climate AI startup asked me: “Can you get 10,000 images of mangrove roots in monsoon?”
Satellite was useless. Stock photos were generic. Labeling agencies quoted 6 months.
So I went to the Sundarbans with my camera, a GPS, and my PMP playbook.
